Mission

SEED (Students Expressing Environmental Dedication) is a student organization on the University of Washington campus which encourages sustainable living in the residence halls and daily life, fosters environmental stuardship and activism, and seeks to bring students with like-minded love for nature and environmental responsibility together so that we can change the world together!

SEED was orginally formed to bring paper recycling into the residence halls but now has expanded to include a variety of projects: from composting in the dorms to a “green art” show, there truly is something for everyone. So whether you are curious about the effects of climate change and urban development, posess a strong passion for gardening, love to spend time outdoors and encourage recycling, or are just wondering what the heck is “compostable”, please come to a meeting because we would love to have you :)

Meetings

SEED meets once a week on Thursdays at 5:30 pm in McMahon Pompeii Room.
